Good news to all of you, Microsoft is updating the Xbox360 dashboard on December 6, 2011 and OMG it looks great. Lets share some of the great details this update will bring to the Xbox360.
For once the aspect of the home screen will change making it more user friendly, you will have a set amount of tabs on the top of your screen. This will be set like this: Home, Social, Video, Games, Music, Apps and finally Settings, but don't worry they have only added a couple of new things and the layout is much simpler than before.
Some of the new things they've added is the ability to link and display your social networks directly to your console which is great for all of us Facebook and Twitter geeks. Microsoft said they have made this update more Kinect and Mobile windows phone friendly. For instance you can now video call some of your friends and family members using the Kinect sensor bar, also before you were able to control only a limited amount of options on your Xbox using Kinect but now you can use it for everything. Using your windows phone will help you unlock achievements for your profile, play games and also share videos and pictures with the console as well.
Most important for Gold members, you guys will have access to Cloud services. This enables you to upload and download data from your games instead of using your console's memory. Well I hope you guys like the update, personally I think it is great but let me know what you think!
