Ubisoft announced today that we will be playing Assassin's Creed III on October 30,2012 still nothing has been said where and at what time in period the story will take place but rest assure you i will keep you posted on that. One thing is for sure tho, one idea of the game has to do with December 21 , 2012 in a way they will connect the rumors of the end of the world with this game, maybe the Templars got an artifact so powerful and that will blow up the world and maybe your job is to stop this from happening.
Another idea maybe the Templars got the strange beams from another world angry at us (the ones we saw at the end of Assasins's Creed 2) that they are going to destroy us and you job is to stop this from happening or to show them that we are different from the Templars.My gut tells me your still are going to play as Desmond, but I don't know about Ezio since Revelation put us when he was at an older age already and we didn't see any connection to the ends of time , but I could be wrong since his adored by so many fans of this series.We used a lot of new weapons and technology on that game so it wouldn't be a good idea to back in time with less and more older arsenal so we might see a new character from Desmond's blood line? maybe ?
This is one of my favorite series, I've play everyone of the games (except DS) but i did do mobile lol so dont worry if your like me come back and check the latest news on this game.
